NHS members are expected to complete at least 25 hours of community service each year. Service hours done for other clubs, the special community service event, and committee work are not counted toward a member's service hours. 

Existing members, make a copy of the existing google doc linked here. This is the form you are required to fill out in order to log and report your service hours for the year.  

Every Wednesday, the NHS hosts a tutoring session at Glenwood Springs Middle School. Members are expected to attend and provide assistance at three of these events. The sign up sheet can be found on a link sent through remind at this point in time. 

Along with these major requirements, NHS members are expected to show up to every NHS meeting unless special circumstances prevent their attendance. Members must also join at least one committee, and they must maintain a 3.4 unweighted or 3.5 weighted GPA throughout their membership. If your grade begins to fall, we highly encourage that you seek help from your fellow NHS members first and foremost who are more than willing to provide assistance.
